Call for Papers

DEADLINE: All submissions must be received by December 28, 2014.

We welcome the submission of abstracts from original research to be presented in the event in the form of short talk (15min presentation + 5 min questions)  or in the form of poster (both of them should be presented in English). Despite the fact that in the submission Submit page of this site you have a preference box to choose your desired presentation format, either talk or poster, we will send you an e-mail in case the committee disagrees with your choice.

All abstracts will be screened by our committee before they are sent out for review. Abstracts that do not comply with the guidelines will not be reviewed. Obviously, our intention is not to be too strict; but we believe that allowing authors to include visual content in addition to text, all in the same page, is a simple guideline both for author and for reviewers.

Due to the format of the event with no overlapping activities, slots are limited and abstracts will have to be classified for their quality.

Please read these instructions carefully:

  • Abstracts should be submitted in ENGLISH as a one-sided, A4 sheet  with 2,5cm margins all around, saved as PDF and without any information about the authors.
  • The entire abstract should be formatted using font Times New Roman with a 12 point font size.
  • The content can be whatever combination of text, figures, tables, charts, and graphics that enables you to communicate your ideas effectively in one single page. Notice that all content must conform to the above specifications and should be clearly legible.
  • References should be included in an additional page (second page). Only the references should be in this additional sheet: One A4 sheet for the whole abstract and one A4 sheet for the references.
  • The abstract title should be in upper case and bold.
  • Given that the abstract have to be anonymous, authors should leave some blank space between title and abstract, as this will need to be filled with author and contact information if the submission is accepted.
  • Please save your abstract as a pdf file ready for uploading only via the online Submit button in the Main Menu . Please do not send e-mails with the abstract attached.
