Eating
There are some food facilities inside PUC,
like: Restaurant Couve Flor, Gourmet, Bar das Freiras,
Na Medida, Eruditos, Japa Way and the University Canteen.

Buses
Regular bus is 3,40 reais.
Metrô or Metrô + Metrô na Superfície is 3,50. (Keep in mind that if you plan to use the subway bus you should order a Metrô + Metrô na Superfície ticket).
How to get to the Conference locations:
- To get to UFRJ - Ilha do Fundão campus:
There is one bus that serves the south area of the city to the campus, number 485. If you want to get to campus you should see at the front upper part of the bus it's number 485 followed by either Penha or Fundão. The bus will take express routes, so it will move faster than most buses in other cities.
Once you enter the campus you should look for Faculdade de Letras. You will hop off across the street from the building. 485 bus is the mode of transportation of students and staff from different parts of the city, which means that, especially early in the morning, it should be quite full.
There are other modes of transportation as well. PUC
Coming from any point, you can get the Underground to either Botafogo or Ipanema Station. From these Stations you can get into a Metro-Bus (Integration System) straight to Gávea. The final stop is the PUC Bus Terminal. (The ticket used in the metro is valid for the metro-bus).
UFRJ
There is no metro terminal at UFRJ, to get there using the underground, take Line 2 to Del Castilho Station. From there you can get into the busline 913 or 616 (Nova América X Fundão) or Lines 913 e 616 with a final stop at UFRJ.
Another option is to take Line 2 to Vicente de Carvalho and go to the BRT station ( Brazil Rapid Transport - integrated bus system at the same station but in a different plattform). AT BRT station, take the BRT Bus to Fundão/UFRJ.
Taxis
You can also get a taxi to get to the university, just keep in mind that since the campus is far from the city it will be more expensive than any other option.
